After years of experience in music education, I have successfully transitioned into computer science education. I bring a wide range of hands-on technology expertise and a dedication to student growth that goes beyond the classroom, while always advocating for technology ethics.
With a diverse background that spans programming, hardware assembly, and curriculum development, I thrive at the intersection of education and technology. As an active Computer Science Teacher at John B. Connally High School in Pflugerville ISD, I am excited to share my personal journey, technical skills, and community experiences with you through this site.

Recently I completed the WeTeach_CS program through the University of Texas Austin. This program is designed to help transition educators into Computer Science education roles. The goal of this program goes beyond certification, but establishes a peer group, builds a strong understanding Computer Science, and provides multiple tools to ensure a successful transition.
